First 24 Hours: Critical Healing Stage

• Keep your bandage on for 2–4 hours (or as instructed by your artist)
• Wash hands before touching your tattoo
• Gently wash tattoo with lukewarm water & fragrance-free soap
• Pat dry with a clean paper towel (do NOT rub)
• Apply a thin layer of recommended tattoo ointment
• Leave uncovered unless advised otherwise

Days 2–7: Peeling & Itching Is Normal

• Wash tattoo 2–3 times daily
